The short version

Shape Language collects only what it needs to run your account: basic sign-in information. Your conversations live on your device. We show no ads, run no third-party analytics or tracking, and never sell your data.

1. What we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we store your email address (or the identifier your sign-in provider shares, such as Sign in with Apple or Google) so you can sign in and manage your subscription.

Usage totals. To enforce your plan's monthly allowance, we keep a running count of the AI usage tied to your account. These are totals, not the content of what you wrote.

2. Your content

The conversations, glossary, and documents you create are stored on your device. On Apple devices they may also sync through your own iCloud account, which we can't read.

When you use a feature — translating, proofreading, roleplay, tap-to-hear — the text involved is sent to our servers and passed to the AI or speech service that generates the response. It's processed to produce your result, not used to build advertising profiles.

3. Service providers

We use a small set of processors to run the app: an authentication and database provider for accounts and usage totals, Anthropic for AI responses, and Google Cloud for spoken audio. Purchases and payment details are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we never see your payment information.

4. What we don't do

No advertising, no ad SDKs, no third-party analytics or tracking, no selling or renting personal information — to anyone, ever.

5. Deleting your data

You can delete your account any time from the app's settings, which removes your account record and its usage history from our servers. Content stored on your device is yours to delete with the app. Questions or manual requests: tim@voyagerspace.systems.

6. Children

Shape Language isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
