1. About Shape Language

Shape Language is a language-learning app for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

Some features require an account. You're responsible for the activity that happens under it, and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings.

3. Subscriptions

Shape Language offers auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are managed through your store account; canceling stops the next renewal but doesn't refund the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

4. AI-generated content

Translations, corrections, explanations, and conversation replies in Shape Language are generated by AI. They're intended as learning aids and may occasionally be inaccurate. Don't rely on them where a mistranslation could cause harm — legal, medical, or safety-critical contexts.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the app to generate content that's unlawful or abusive, don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, and don't use automated tools to extract data from it.

6. Your content

The text you enter stays yours. We process it to provide the app's features — for example, sending it to our translation service to generate a response.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the current version always lives at this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
